LISA FRANCES JUDD’S STORY…….
My name is Lisa Judd, I am happily married to a wonderful man named Anthony. I have two grown children, Sarah 20 and James 18, and two step children, Joshua 13 and Samantha 10. Anthony and I live in the beautiful Blue Mountains located just outside of Sydney (Australia), with two cats and a household that regularly goes from 2 people to 6 people and back again as the kids come and go.
I started my working life in the Public Relations and Marketing field. In 1987 I founded my own P.R. company which I successfully ran for over 12 years working as a consultant to many well known national and international pharmaceutical and health supplement companies. After I changed careers in 2000, I worked in both direct and business to business sales. I won numerous sales awards (and some wonderful holidays) for exceeding sales targets and, as a senior sales person; I was entrusted to train and help up-and-coming new sales staff.
I WAS WINNING THE ‘RAT RACE’ BUT I WAS STILL A RAT!
Yes; I had achieved success in both my careers, but I was not free. I was still very unhappy. I was unfulfilled. I was stressed and I had no real passion for what I was doing anymore.
I am sure many of you reading this know how exactly how that feels, working over 10 hour days, taking work home into the evening, driving long distances getting to and from where you are working and missing precious time with your loved-ones. The worst part is realizing that despite all your hard work your dreams are not being fulfilled.
A CRISIS CHANGED THE DIRECTION OF MY LIFE
My life changed when I developed a back injury (no doubt aggravated by all that stress) and had to leave my sales career behind. Having been both self employed and an employee I knew that I needed to find a better way to achieve my financial and personal goals.
